Suicide Squad Isekai episode 1-3 recap
The anime starts with Harley and Joker pulling off a heist together and escaping to be pursued by cops. Meanwhile, Amanda Waller tries everything to keep the gate open. Due to some mishaps, Harley is caught by Katana. She is then sent on a mission to another world along with Deadshot, Clayface, King Shark, and Peacemaker.
However, things take a turn for the worse as their handler dies, and they get arrested. While in prison, the group meets Rick Flag and learns they are the second group Amanda has sent into the portal. They escape and manage to take control of the prison. Cecil arrives and grants them an audience with the Queen. They learn that the first group sent in escaped and defected to the empire. Peacemaker then offers the Queen a deal to fix the problem by defeating the forces.
She agrees but takes Rick as insurance. The team heads for the battlefield, and Deadshot deduces that his old friend is leading the battle. Upon arriving, the misguided relationship between the two becomes evident. However, they are able to defeat Ratcatcher but destroy the castle in the process. Episode 3 of Suicide Squad Isekai ends with Katana arriving and taking Rat away.
