The episode picks up where the previous episode left off, with Suo nominating Sakura as class rep. Sakura stands up to protest the nomination, but Kiryu, Tsuge, and Nirei second Suo’s decision. Sakura tries to back out, but the whole class asks him to do it. Ren, the second-year rep, gets involved and gives Sakura the position.

However, Suo and Nirei agree to help him out as vice-captains. The trio accompany the second years on their patrol and see Ren get a mission to find a missing kid. Sakura mistakes it for an actual baby but is shocked to find out it’s a cat. Sakura helps them chase the cat. However, it jumps into the river, and Ren jumps to save it.

Later, Sakura asks Ren about his motivations as a class rep and is shocked to hear he doesn’t have any. He tells Sakura he simply can’t disappoint the people who depend on him. The next day, Sakura tries to learn the names of his classmates. He then notices one of the kids is beat up, but before he can ask, all the class reps are summoned to the roof. The episode ends with Umemiya arriving with the four kings and assistants by his side.
