The episode titled “Demon” continued from where the previous episode left off, with Shin accepting Rionne’s request for a duel. They use an artifact that teleports them to a private location for the battle. Shin picks a standard long sword and is shocked by her choice of a heavy sword.
The battle between the two was fierce, with Rionne showing she is no slouch even when compared to him. However, their weapons gave out, ending the match in a tie. They return to the castle but see the cardinal possessed, and he teleports them away. They can deduce that they are in the Holy Land, far from the castle.
Shin contacts Schnee and informs her of their situation. Meanwhile, Schnee sneaks into the castle with Tiera to interrogate the cardinal. She finds him but is attacked by the demon that had possessed him. The demon attempts to use her feelings and Shin’s departure to turn her over to their side, but she kills it mercilessly. She then goes to inform the king about everything that has happened. The episode ends with Schnee and Tiera departing the kingdom to meet with Shin.
