Mission: Yozakura Family episode 10 recap
The episode starts with Taiyo and Mutsumi enjoying a party organized by Rin to celebrate the former’s successful mission. Taiyo drifts up to an enclosed space and ponders the box he got from Kurogao’s location and what he would do. Mutsumi comes over to meet him and assures him that she will be by his side no matter what happens. Kyoichiro tells him the bead is an optical drive that may contain visual data.
Meanwhile, Taiyo is shocked to see that Ayaka has been appointed as housemaid at the Yozakura mansion. She tries to help Taiyo with his training by constantly attempting to assassinate him. However, Ayaka doesn’t go easy on him even while bathing, leading to a weird situation with Kyoichiro.
The next day, Taiyo heads out for his mission but mistakenly leaves his phone behind. Mutsumi picks it up and sees that he is getting a call from someone named Kaoru. Ayaka interferes, telling Mutsumi that Taiyo could be cheating on her, but she brushes it off. Later, Taiyo accompanies Mutsumi while she walks Goliath.
She explains Goliath’s origins and his sworn duty to protect the head of the family. Taiyo attempts to ride on his back with Mutsumi, but he disapproves. However, after shielding Goliath and Mutsumi from a bomb, he earns the hounds’ trust and rides on its back. They return to the mansion, and Ayaka shows pictures of Taiyo with a woman.
The woman enters the house with her grandpa and reveals she was helping Taiyo procure some tea leaves for Kyoichiro. Despite being overwhelmed by the situation, Kyoichiro refuses to apologize to Taiyo. The episode ends with them enjoying a drink together.
