A Condition Called Love episode 8 recap
The episode starts with Hotaru’s friends congratulating her for finally accepting Hananoi. Hotaru then tells them that the latter got a job at her workplace, which shocks them both. However, they decided to let it go since Hotaru had allowed it but worried about his attitude toward strangers.
Meanwhile, the manager at the store asks Hananoi to maintain his relationship with Hotaru strictly professional during work hours. After work, Yao tries to talk with Hananoi but gets ignored. The latter then warns him to stay away from Hotaru and stop calling her nicknames. Soon after, Hotaru takes Hananoi to a cafe to discuss new policies for their relationship.
Kyo later asks Hotaru for help in befriending Keigo’s pet dog, which leads her to meet Yao for help. He invites her, Hananoi, and Kyo to his house to meet his pet dog. Meanwhile, Yao asks Hananoi if they have met each other previously, but he brushes it off. After a while, Kyo gets over her phobia of dogs by spending more time with Yao’s pet. The episode ends with Yao discovering that Hananoi attended the same elementary school as he and Hotaru.
