One of the most crucial clans throughout Naruto is the Uzumaki Clan. They were from the Uzushiogakure, which was destroyed out of fear. The surviving members of this genocide moved to Konohagakure. They are descendants of Asura Otsutsuki and thus share ties with the Senju Clan.
They were known for having a massive Chakra reserve and sealing Jutsu. Many considered the Uzumaki clan a precious asset, while others used to fear their sheer power. Since members of this clan got little screen time, few details are known about the characters. However, here are some of the most well-known members of the Uzumaki Clan.
Naruto Uzumaki
One of the strongest Uzumaki by the end of Naruto Shippuden is the Seventh Hokage. In his younger years, Naruto’s chakra reserve was unmatched! He was strong enough to overpower even the Otsutsuki beings as strong as Isshiki. He could control Kurama’s abilities and even mastered the Six Paths Sage Mode, as seen during the Fourth Great Ninja War.
The consequences of using his most powerful form were unfortunate. Naruto lost Kurama after Baryon Mode was deactivated. However, he is one of the strongest shinobi in the world of Naruto Shippuden.
Kushina Uzumaki
A potential Jinchuuriki for the Nine-Tailed Fox, Kushina, was brought to Konohagakure to serve as a vessel. Kushina learned about Kurama’s power from Mito Uzumaki, the former Jinchuriki. Kushina became accustomed to her new life while she became a normal citizen of Konoha. She married Minato Namikaze, the Fourth Hokage. However, the couple died while protecting their son during the Nine-Tailed Fox’s assault.
Nagato Uzumaki
The first person in the series shown to bear a Rinnegan, Nagato Uzumaki, was born in Amegakure. Along with Naruto, he is one of the strongest members of the Uzumaki Clan. His ability to bear the strain of the Rinnegan proves the vitality of his clan. He mastered several Rinnegan techniques. As the leader of Akatsuki, he possessed enough powers to destroy entire villages. During the Pain Assault Arc, he was frail. Despite that, he fought on par with Naruto. During his prime, Nagato was powerful enough to fight with two Perfect Jinchuriki simultaneously.
Karin Uzumaki
Working alongside Orochimaru for a long time, Karin became an essential character in the series. Following his death, Karin joined Taka under Sasuke’s commands. She is introduced as just another girl captivated by Sasuke’s charm. However, as the plot progressed, Karin displayed feats of immense power. She excels at Medical Ninjutsu and possesses unmatched sensory prowess. During the Fourth Great Ninja War, she awakened the Adamantine Chains, a rare ability that only a handful possess.
Mito Uzumaki
The wife of the First Hokage, Mito Uzumaki, was introduced later in the series. Members of the Uzumaki clan have immense vitality, which made Mito compatible to become the Nine-Tailed Jinchuuriki. She acted as an excellent vessel for Kurama before Kushina became the next Jinchuuriki. There wasn’t much shown about her character except her relevance as the vessel for the Nine-Tailed Fox.
