Kagurabachi Chapter 32 Recap: Chihiro Unleashed His New Move

Kagurabachi chapter 32 was released on Monday, May 13, 2024, in Weekly Shonen Jump. This was a highly anticipated chapter as the protagonist unveiled a new ability. Considering how things concluded for Hakuri in the previous chapter, this one showed him being able to use the signature move of his clan.

The previous chapter of Kagurabachi was a nail-biter as Chihiro finally confronted the leader of the Hishaku organization. The leader’s overwhelming power and their significant difference left readers on the edge of their seats. The chapter concluded with a tantalizing hint of a new ability, potentially a trump card for Chihiro against Hishaku’s leader, as he connected with the Cloud Gouger blade.

Kagurabachi chapter 32 spoilers: Cloud Gouger’s True Realm

Kagurabachi chapter 32 started with Chihiro unleashing his new move, Mei: Shred. In the previous chapter, he entered the Cloud Gouger blade’s True Realm. Black embers rose from his Enchanted blade as Hishaku’s leader realized that Chihiro had regained his breath. He focused on these sparks to break out of his constraints, followed by an intense lunge towards the man. Hishaku’s leader threw his severed arm towards the protagonist to distract him.

Chihiro got used to the man’s moves and tactics. It didn’t take him long to anticipate his moves and regain his demeanor. The Hishaku leader lets Chihiro stab him in the chest. His body has too much endurance, and he takes the blade upfront as if nothing happened. Chihiro realizes he must level up his attack to defeat this man. However, it was revealed that his blade was only three embers away from dying out.

Chihiro wasn’t aware of the Hishaku leader’s complete abilities, so he withdrew from the battle. The wooden tree beside him also recovered, so Chihiro had enough strength left in his balde to blow it out. He concluded that he should not waste Cloud Gouger’s dying embers on the sorcerer. Chihiro decides to reunite with Hakuri by breaking the wooden wall.

Hakuri’s battle with his brother was another critical moment in Kagurabachi chapter 32. Soya Sazanami lands a kick on Hakuri, expressing his agitation. The banished sorcerer still fails to use the Sazanami clan’s signature move, Isou. Hakuri’s brother rebukes him for listening to Chihiro over him. Soya Sazanami then continues to explain how the protagonist has been using Hakuri for his motives all along. As Chihiro’s fight was happening simultaneously, Hakuri expected him to unleash Mei: Shred and burst through the wooden wall at any moment.

Shiba explains that sorcery is manifested from Spirit Energy, something that lies latent in every human being. However, one can train to manipulate this Spirit Energy, preferably by Sorcerers. He continues to explain to Hakuri that he is capable of using sorcery. But his preventive mindset is the only thing stopping him. Hakuri had reasons for creating these mental barriers, as he always perceived himself as nothing but a failure.

Things became different when he met Chihiro. Finally, Hakuri eliminates this stagnant mindset and unleashes Isou on his older brother. The attack doesn’t damage Soya Sazanami much, but Chihiro gets enough time to land a decisive hit on the sorcerer.
