Tower of God chapter 622 recap: Traumerei captures Endorsi
The chapter starts where the previous one left off, with Gustang baffled at Enkidu’s confession. However, he falls unconscious before he can answer Gustang’s question. After waking up, he loses the ability to speak human language and acts like an animal. Despite the rankers insisting on Enkidu’s death, Gustang votes to seal him.
Following their decision, the rankers who believe in Enkidu’s confession, wage a war against V and his forces. As such, a vicious act turns long-time friends into enemies. Meanwhile, Gustang, who is responsible for recording history, feels bad about the truth disappearing with Enkidu. Despite doubting Traumerei, he can’t act without proof, which frustrates him even more.
His grief makes him struggle to write stories, leading him to forego his responsibilities. The chapter then shows the rankers doing their best to forget the events surrounding Ameuz’s death. Traumerei puts his memories into Leviathan, while Khun drowns himself in alcohol.
