Grandpa and Grandma Turn Young Again Episode 5: Recap
Ine lost her memories in the previous episode, and she couldn’t comprehend that she has been married to Shouzou for over 50 years now. Ine wanted to know why she chose Shouzou as her husband.
Modern appliances enticed her, such as plastic wraps, a rice cooker, curry mix, natto, and shoyu containers. Shouzou wasn’t good at cooking, so he used to help her with all the household chores.
Shouzou turns young again by turning the hourglass in his dreams. Ine still couldn’t recall her memories and had to act normally in order not to offend Yoshiaki’s family. Shouzou helped her to cook as she was facing some troubles. Yoshiaki’s company is going through a rough phase, and Ine comforts him.
Ine’s sister had dementia and couldn’t recall her. Shouzou and her went to the hospital to visit her. She recalls how her sister used to play the piano. Meanwhile, several weeks have passed since Ine lost her memories. Shouzou wasn’t home one evening, and she was all alone, which made her feel anxious. This realization allowed her to get back all of her memories.
