Wind Breaker episode 5 recap
The episode starts with Umemiya and the rest of the Furin squad arriving in Shishitoren territory. Choji and Togame guide them to their hideout, which is packed with Shishitoren members who are ready to watch the fight. Choji tries to fight first, but Togame pulls him off, telling him bosses can’t fight first. Arima proposes to have his match against Sugishita first and is met with no restriction.
Arima uses Umemiya as a distraction to attack Sugishita, but the latter powers through and slams him into the ground. The Shishitoren crowd is silenced by Sugishita, who comfortably gets off the stage. However, Togame couldn’t hide his disgust for Arima and told people to scrape him off the stage.
Suo then offers to go next, and before leaving, he tells Sakura he won’t let him just pass him by. Kanuma gets scared at the thought of ending up like Arima and struggles to climb the stage. The situation worsens after Suo toys with him, making it look as if he is collapsing on his own. The episode ends with Togame telling Kanuma he is no longer one of them.
