Ahead of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba -To the Hashira Training- (season 4) premiere, the anime revealed a new trailer video on Monday, May 6, 2024. The trailer shows the Stone Hashira, Gyomei Himejima, announcing the beginning of the Hashira training. The clip also puts other Hashiras on center stage, further featuring Tanjiro undergoing training at the end.

Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba season 4, famously known as the Hashira Training Arc, will have a one-hour special premiere. The first episode will air on Sunday, May 12, 2024, at 10:15 a.m. EDT. Moreover, fans can stream the first episode on Crunchyroll and Netflix while Fuji TV and its affiliated networks broadcast it in Japan.
Much like the Swordsmith Village arc, the film Demon Slayer -To the Hashira Training- is a compilation of the previous season and the first episode of season 4. It premiered in Japanese theaters on February 2, 2024. It was later screened in theaters worldwide and grossed over $44 million as of April 2024. Haruo Sotozaki directed the Hashira Training arc at Ufotable, while Crunchyroll, Toho, and Aniplex distributed it worldwide.
As the name suggests, the upcoming season will cover the Hashira Training arc of the manga. Hence, the story will continue after the Swordsmith Village arc, where Tanjiro, Inosuke, Zenitsu, and others undergo training supervised by the Hashiras. Evident from the previous seasons, the Hashiras are adept warriors in the Demon Slayer Corps and can tactfully handle Upper Rank demons, which is why they take charge of these specific training.
Per the manga’s events, the arc is relatively short and prepares the demon slayers for their battle against Muzan Kibutsuji. Hence, fans can prepare to witness the trainees go through rigorous training, ultimately setting the stage for an action-packed Infinity Castle and Sunrise Countdown arcs.
