Oblivion Battery episode 4 recap
The episode continued from where the previous episode left off, with Kiyomine and Kei going against Teikoku’s first hitter. All seemed to be going smoothly, but Kokuto’s appearance on the pitch changed the match’s events entirely. However, Chihaya and Todo showcased their outstanding skills, making the opposing manager panic even more.
However, Kei’s hitting was atrocious, as he easily missed everything. After coming off, Kei asked Chihaya and Todo if they wanted to transfer to Teikoku, but they both declined. Kei was put on catcher, and he shared his famous one-liner with Kokuto, but Kokuto told him it wasn’t funny. The episode then revealed the promise Kokuto had made to them previously.
Kei was put back in the catcher, and the ball was smashed into his mask, making him panic. After that, even straight balls were impossible to catch, earning him jeers from the opposing team. The episode ended with Kotehashi facing defeat against Teikoku.
