Episode 6 recap
The episode starts with Allen confronting Bret in the plaza with Riese. He uses Mylene’s invisibility skill to secretly record the demon as he admits his crimes and plans for the city. Bret, annoyed by Allen’s interference, tries to attack with his marionette, but Allen severs the threads. Allen feels responsible for him, believing he didn’t take care of him enough when they were younger. He punches Bret into the ground and incapacitates him.
Meanwhile, Beatrice and Mylene teamed up to fight the demon. Thanks to Mylene’s invisibility technique, they had the advantage throughout the fight. He tries to run away, but Beatrice stabs him with her sword and takes control of the knights. Elsewhere, Akira and Edward engaged Craig in a fierce battle. The latter, thanks to his demon powers, was able to deal with them both.
Edward tries to reason with his old friend but is stabbed in the chest. Craig tries to kill Akira, but Allen appears and stops him. He uses his technique to destroy Craig and the darkness that plagues the city. After the battle, he is awarded the title of Duke of Westfelt but immediately rejects it. The king instead gives Riese the Westfelt last name and sends her off with Allen. The episode ends with Anriette watching Allen from afar.
