Ninja Kamui episode 12 recap: The Ninja Chieftain returns with a twist
Ninja Kamui episode 12, “Dilly,” begins with the old man from the season’s initial episodes catering to Higan after the protagonist’s big fight with Zai. The old man expresses that he worries about Higan’s emotional wounds after he fought with his close friend. Much to Higan’s shock, he also reveals how he knows that both of them used their secret art. Hence, Higan inquires how he knows about their secret art.
With this, the old man begins to transform into his original form. He turns out to be none other than the Ninja Chieftain, who, among other things, explains that Yamaji had killed him long ago. However, he survived due to the benefit of his secret art.
Elsewhere, Dilly and Yamaji engage in their battle, where Dilly’s dedication towards Joseph is explained. Joseph seemed to be the only person who cared about her, even slightly, which led her to betray Yamaji. Eventually, Dilly loses to Yamaji, and Mike makes his move to seek the FBI’s help to expose Joseph.
However, Joseph was one step ahead and threatened to initiate explosions if he was instigated. Also, Yamaji seemed already on his path to eliminate Higan, setting the stage for an action-packed finale.
