One-Punch Man: Everything to know about the anime

After 2019, the much-awaited One-Punch Man is coming back to the screens with Season 3. Although the anime’s first season was animated by Madhouse, J.C. Staff will produce Season 3, marking its return after Season 2.

Chikashi Kubota will continue to work on the character designs with Shinjiro Kuroda and Ryōsuke Shirakawa. Moreover, Tomohiro Suzuki will compose the series, and Makoto Miyazaki will handle the music production. Furthermore, the anime revealed that Makoto Furukawa will continue to voice Saitama, while Hikaru Midorikawa will voice Garou. However, no information about the season’s director or additional cast has been revealed yet.

Viewers can stream One-Punch Man on Crunchyroll, which describes the series as “Saitama started out being a hero just for fun. After three years of “special” training, he became so powerful that he can defeat opponents with a single punch. Now, alongside Genos, his faithful cyborg disciple, Saitama is ready to begin his official duties as a professional hero working with the Hero Association.”

Crunchyroll continues the description, “However, the frequency of monster appearances is surging and it increasingly appears as if the Great Seer Madame Shibabawa’s prediction about the Earth’s doom is coming true. In the midst of this crisis, the “hero hunter” Garou makes his own appearance.”

ONE, also known as Tomohiro, wrote the One-Punch manga while Yusuke Murata worked on the illustrations. Shueisha’s Jump Comics began the manga’s serialization in June 2012, and it has 30 volumes to date. Since its publication, the manga has been adapted into an anime television series, an original animation DVD, and two video games.
