Oblivion Battery episode 2 recap
The episode begins with Kiyomine asking Yamada to help get Kei back into baseball. They convince him to follow them to practice, where Kei is fascinated by the batting glove. The group is then joined by Chihaya and Todo, two former baseball stars who had also quit because of them.
Both are shocked to see the famous Kei acting dumb and are even more shocked to learn of his amnesia. Yamada asks them to join the team, but they refuse, saying they are through. Kiyomine asks them if they are okay with staying defeated, which prompts them to play a simple game.
Kiyomine’s serves proved to be more than a match for Todo. However, the latter was able to receive the third one, which allowed Chihaya to showcase his speed. Yamada watched in awe of the fantastic players on the pitch. After the match, the two leave, but Yamada asks them to play again. The episode ends with them rejecting the offer and leaving the field.
