An ArchDemons Dilemma episode 1 recap
Episode 1 begins with the introduction of the feared and hated sorcerer, Zagan. He rescues a girl about to be sacrificed by a sorcerer. However, in an attempt to save her, he renders her unconscious by killing the sorcerer in front of her.
As he teleports her away, he Is interrupted by Barbatos, his friend and fellow sorcerer. He invites Zagan to participate in Marchosias’s auction. Despite his initial reluctance, he eventually gave in.
At the event, Zagan notices Nephy, an elf girl, being auctioned, and he falls in love with her instantly. This causes him to spend all his money to acquire her. The two then go home, where Nephy makes several hilarious assumptions. After a few mishaps while picking a room, the two enjoy each other’s company as they stare at the moon.
Episode 2 starts with Nephy and Zagan having breakfast in the castle. Nephy is shocked to discover that Zagan eats the same thing as a common slave, but he enjoys the taste. Nephy then offers to cook, which makes Zagan panic, as they have no ingredients.
They set off for the town, and on their way, they witness a robbery. Zagan intervenes and saves the carriage from the thieves, after which he is rewarded with some coins. He uses them to buy some clothes for Nephy and find a way to remove her slave collar. The episode ends with the church sending Chastille, the maiden of the sacred sword, after Zagan.
