Tower of God chapter 617 recap: Enkidu and Traumerie’s budding friendship
After the creature successfully takes over Enkidu’s body with the help of Headon, he makes his way back to Traumerie, who is engaged in battle with the sacred race. Traumerie welcomes him back, and he is happy he now has a name and a body. He tries to help Traumerie with the bit of shinsu he mastered, but he is no match. Soon after, Traumerie intervenes and destroys the beast.
Enkidu followed Traumerie everywhere, with the latter happy to show him the full wonders of the tower and everything in it, even teaching him how to control shinsu. However, the other rankers doubted Enkidu and asked Traumerie to be careful. But the latter trusted Enkidu, even taking him to the administrator to help grant him protection.
Their friendship was going well, but Ameuz’s presence bothered Enkidu, who didn’t trust her. Ameuz was one of the rankers who had climbed the tower with Traumerie and the others. Traumerie met with Ameuz to discuss the plans for the party they were having. As he left, the latter asked Traumerie if he still loved her, to which he replied immediately with yes.
