The production staff of the popular anime series Solo Leveling confirmed a renewal on Saturday, March 30, 2024. The first season was a spectacular hit among the fans, so it’s natural that a second season will be on the way. Crunchyroll also confirmed that it will stream the second season. However, there needs to be more information regarding the release window or a specific date for this upcoming series.
The second season of this series has been titled Solo Leveling Season 2—Arise from the Shadow. Fans are speculating that it will drop sometime during the first half of the 2025 calendar year, based on the timing of this initial confirmation announcement and the typical production time for an anime series.

Solo Leveling Season 2 release date window & more
Solo Leveling season 2 was announced along with a teaser trailer. The video clip featured glimpses of Sung Jinwoo from the first season. However, towards the last few sequences, we see a completely new shot of Jinwoo. He is wearing a winter coat in what appears to be cold weather, given the snow falling all around him.
The production of Solo Leveling season 2 is confirmed. It brought a wave of excitement to the community as this series has been one of the anticipated titles in 2024 itself! There haven’t been any announcements regarding the change in cast or staff. Shunsuke Nakashige directed the first season at A-1 Pictures, with Noboru Kimura as head writer. Tomoko Sudo handled the character designs. Hiroyuki Sawano composed the music along with K-pop group TOMORROW X TOGETHER to produce the banger of an opening theme song, LEVEL.
Taito Ban voiced Sung Jinwoo, the show’s protagonist. Genta Nakamura co-starred as Yoo Jinho and Haruna Mikawa as Sung Jinah. Also, Reina Ueda voiced Cha Hae-In, Hiroki Touchi voiced Baek Yoonho, and Daisuke Hirakawa voiced Choi Jong-In. Banjo Ginga voiced Go Gunhee, and Makoto Furukawa voiced Woo Jinchui.
