As per reports, Tower of God season 2 will return in the summer of 2024. However, while not much information was available on the upcoming season, the latest trailer revealed the voice cast, staff, and production studio. The trailer also announced the artist performing the theme songs.
Tower of God’s first season marked the first collaboration between Webtoon and Crunchyroll. As the summer lineup draws closer, fans won’t have to wait much longer for the series’ release date.
Tower of God season 2: NiziU opening and ending theme songs
Ahead of its premiere, Tower of God‘s staff, voice cast, and theme songs were announced. Japanese girl group NiziU will reportedly perform the season’s opening and ending theme songs. The band also shared their excitement in a video, which was followed by a clip from the upcoming season.
Tower of God season 2 will premiere sometime this July and will be exclusively streamed with Crunchyroll. The upcoming installment promises a more intense plot than the first one. The brief glimpse into the Return of the Prince arc suggests that the story will take place six years after the first season. As such, the introduction of new characters is anticipated.
Reportedly, Akira Suzuki will direct this season at the new production studio, The Answer Studio. Erika Yoshida will handle the scripts. Meanwhile, Miho Tanino, Seigo Kitazawa, and Isamatsu Kashima will undertake character designs. Lastly, Kevin Penkin will return to compose the music.
The voice cast for the upcoming season includes Taichi Ichikawa as Jyu Viole Grace, Yuma Uchida as Ja Wangnan, and Sayumi Watabe as Yeon Yihwa. Aside from them, Saori Hayami will voice Rachel, Yu Shimamura will take the role of Yeo Goseng, and Saki Miyashita will be heard as Yeo Miseng. They will also be joined by Kenichiro Matsuda as Kang Horyang, Kento Shiraishi as Hon Arkraptor, Kengo Kawanishi as Prince, Natsuko Abe as Nia, Naoki Irie as Rai, and Nobuhiko Okamoto as Khun Aguero Agnis.
