On Friday, March 22, 2024, Kadokawa released a promotional teaser for the upcoming movie Overlord: The Sacred Kingdom Arc. The clip revealed information about the release window, an additional cast, and more staff. However, the exact release date for the series has yet to be announced.

Overlord: The Sacred Kingdom Arc is being adapted from The Paladin of the Holy Kingdom Arc in the original light novel. Notably, this will be the third anime movie adaptation of Kugane Maruyama and So-Bin’s work. Aside from movies and the light novels, the franchise has three complete seasons of the anime.

The promotional video of Overlord: The Sacred Kingdom Arc revealed that the movie will premiere in Fall 2024. This suggests that fans can expect the movie to be released sometime between October and December of this year.
The trailer also showed the setting of the story to be the Kingdom of Roble. The starting sequence features the knights announcing their presence to the Sacred Queen of Roble. The video then pans over to Ainz Ooal Gown’s army arriving in the kingdom. In addition, the trailer features crucial moments from The Paladin of the Holy Kingdom Arc in the light novel.
Aside from the trailer, four new key visuals were also released. The pictures introduced four new cast members. Yoshino Aoyama will voice Neia Baraja, while Hitomi Nabatame is taking up the role of Remedios Custodio. Saori Hayami will voice Calca Bessarez, the queen of the Sacred Kingdom, and Haruka Tomatsu lends her voice to Kelart Custodio.
