On the second day of Anime Japan 2024, My Hero Academia season 7 revealed a new trailer and opening theme song. As the release date of the anime draws closer, fans are highly anticipating the continuation of Kohei Horikoshi’s superhero saga.

My Hero Academia season 7: What do we know so far?
The announcement of the upcoming season’s trailer was made during the final Red Stage of Anime Japan 2024. Majority of the event featured the voice actors of Izuku Midoriya (Daiki Yamashita), Katsuki Bakugo (Nobuhiko Okamoto), Ochako Uraraka (Ayane Sakura), Himiko Toga (Misato Fukuen), and Tomura Shigaraki (Kouki Uchiyama) discussing their characters and the past seasons of the anime. Following this, they also revealed a new trailer for My Hero Academia season 7.
In the trailer, few moments highlighted the main aspects of the upcoming season. These were primarily confrontational or fight scenes, such as Shoto Todoroki standing against Dabi, the final confrontation between the Pro Heroes and Villains, and the long-awaited arrival of the American Hero, Star and Stripe.
The trailer also revealed the opening song “Dare Wagatame,” which will be performed by TK from Ling Tosite Sigure. The artist is popularly known for providing the theme songs of several anime shows.
As My Hero Academia’s play concluded, the voice actors expressed their gratitude toward the fans for their support. They also shared that the new season would be full of surprises, twists, and epic moments.
