Bucchigiri?! episode 9 recap: Senya and Ichiya’s childhood is explored
Bucchigiri?! episode 9 was titled “Temptation! Soup-Related Etceteras!” and revealed that Ichiya had treacherously transferred to Matakara. Shindo was unprepared and felt betrayed when Ichiya stated he needed a better host than Shindo. Ichiya also claimed that Mataka’s darkness attracted him.
A grieving Matakara dodged his concerned friends and sought refuge in the Honki shrine. As it used to happen in his childhood, the shadow in the shrine terrified him. Ichiya explained that the shadow was a reflection of Matakara’s weakness.
Moreover, he suggested that Matakara accept him to purge the shadow. A manipulative Ichiya urged Matakara to remain distant from his friends and defeat Arajin to get rid of his dependence on the protagonist.
