Following the arrival of the Thunder Gods in the previous episode, Chained Soldier episode 12 will focus on Yuuki’s fight with the unihorn. Moreover, the episode will see Kyouka reaffirm her goal to clean up the agency and lead the group.

Chained Soldier episode 11 recap
The episode started with Aoba and the unihorn continuing their battle against Izumo and Kyouka. Izumo’s space powers kept Aoba on the ropes for most of the fight, but Aoba matched her each time. Izumo unleashed a flurry of attacks that damaged the latter, and then Aoba ate a Mato Peach, giving her an advantage in power.
Meanwhile, Kyouka was dealing with the unihorn pretty easily. Shushu and Sahara tried a new plan. The former shrunk down, and Sahara threw her into Kumodashi’s mouth. She then grew bigger, distracting Coco and allowing Sahara to attack with Kumodashi’s teeth. Elsewhere, Yachino and Himari also won their battle, employing a tactic to use Himari’s detection and Yachino’s time reversal to deal with a premeditated attack.
They were able to drive Coco and Yuno toward Aoba’s battle with Tenka. Izumo could land a black hole attack on Aoba, but a slight delay allowed Aoba to injure her severely. Aoba, seeing the state of her comrades, thought about surrendering.
However, they were interrupted by the arrival of the thunder gods, whom Shikoku led. The Thunder Gods made it clear they were against both factions present. The episode ends with the Thunder Gods taking control of Unihorn and Yukki transforming to fight it.
