The episode starts with Tomozaki and Fuka helping everyone go over their lines for the play. Kikuchi tells Tomozaki how he and everyone have changed, emphasizing that she wants to use the play to reinvent herself.
Later, Tomozaki meets with Minami to practice their comedy routine. They start talking about Aoi and her motivation to be on top. He then begins to wonder how dating Mimimi would be different from them being friends.
Kikuchi and Tomozaki continue to review the script for errors. The former tells him she is working hard to change herself like he and Hanabi did. Mizusawa notices Kikuchi acting weirdly in rehearsals and talks to Fumiya about it. He tells her that Kikuchi is trying to change himself just like him.
