The episode starts with Renejee making it home, where he asks Curte to flee as Lithia has fallen. However, they are interrupted by Harghent, who arrives to finish him off. However, Curte stops him, revealing that the wyvern is her only family.

Fearing Harghent may attack, Renejee attacks him but is shot in the neck by Alus before his attack can land. Harghent leaves the building to get help, and Kuze arrives and rescues Curte, who is severely injured. Meanwhile, Taren and Shalk discuss the final land and the demon king’s demise. Taren decides to leave, but before leaving, Shalk tells her she would have become a great Monarch.

With everything seemingly over, Dakai decides to let Yuno go, but she is still hellbent on getting revenge for her city. Yuno attacks Dakai and is able to keep him busy until Soujirou arrives. Dakai and Soujirou engage in an epic battle, with Dakai being shocked by Soujirou’s strength. The episode ends with Soujirou killing Dakai with his blade.
