Ninja Kamui episode 5 begins with Higan and Zai coming face-to-face with each other, where the latter warns Higan of his looming death. Later, Yamaji and the other corporate ninjas let him infiltrate the base so they could eventually catch him off-guard and kill him. Though Higan’s mysterious benefactor warns him about this, Higan barges into the chambers of death.
While Higan infiltrates Auza City, Morris finds a former Auza employee and seeks his help in the investigation. Hence, Jason Cardenas, the said employee, hacks into Auza’s system, and Morris suddenly notices Emma Samanda, his FBI colleague’s name on the company’s internal network.
Though this surprises Morris, he doesn’t get time to reflect on the situation as some Auza mercenaries discover the hideout and begin open firing. Fortunately, the two escape, but the mercenaries continue trailing them.
Elsewhere, Higan enters the room where Yamaji’s ninjas wait for the protagonist to arrive. While Higan fights against numerous highly prepared mercenaries, he knows he does not stand a chance to stay alive. However, he keeps fighting until Zai prepares to launch a final blow on Higan. As the latter prepares to die, an unknown ally jumps in to save him.
