Doctor Elise episode 8 recap
The episode starts with Elise apologizing to Viscount Ven and Graham for hiding her identity. The viscount tells her off their earlier report to the king, praising her surgical skills and treatment. Elise resumes work alongside Graham, who has become more formal with her now that her identity has been exposed. The latter then leaves work early and has been absent for several days.
Elise wonders if he leaves work due to her actions. She then decides to visit Graham at his house. Elise meets Graham’s maid instead, and the two have an intimate conversation as the protagonist reminisces about their past. Suddenly, she faints, and Elise calls Graham down to help take her to the hospital.
On the way to the hospital, Elise diagnoses the sickness as an abdominal hernia that went untreated. They both prepared her for surgery, and it was a success. Graham then reveals he was never angry about her identity but was upset because of her handwriting.
He tells her he took the time off because she inspired him to continue his research. After this, he revealed his reasons and motivations for becoming a doctor. The episode ends with Elise discovering she will receive an award for her tracheotomy.
