The Unwanted Undead Adventurer episode 8 Recap
Rentt gets a new sword from Klop. He tests it out before returning, channeling his abilities into the sword. He discovers that using spirit, magic, and divinity individually is more effective with the new sword than combining them.
The combined attacks, though powerful, put a lot of strain on his body. Noticing the equipment wasn’t all-powerful, Rentt decides to save money to buy another piece. On his way back, he meets Ryuntus, a boy who needs help saving his sister.
Ryuntus explains to Rentt that young girls are offered to the Lord of the Lake in his village, and his sister is next. However, upon arriving in town, Ryuntus’ sister, Amiris, refuses to get help from Rentt. Despite her refusal, he accepted the job. After inspecting the festival, he discovers something weird.
On the festival day, Rentt stands beside Amiris and notices the lake monster is nothing but a mirage. Moreover, he notices a gang of thieves, the perps responsible for tricking the villagers and kidnapping the girls. The episode ends with Rentt liberating Amiris and the rest of the girls.
