Fumiya Tomozaki continues on his quest to get a girlfriend. However, he is forced to choose between Minami Nanami and Fuuka Kikuchi—two girls who showed interest in him. Tomozaki and Mizusawa go to an all-girls high school cultural festival. Mizusawa wastes no time interacting with the girls there, leaving Tomozaki behind.
They leave the cultural festival, and Mizusawa is sad that he didn’t see Tomozaki flirt with girls. However, the latter says his level isn’t high enough. Later, he gets to spend time with both girls, making his impending decision even harder. He helps Fuuka with her short story as she has problems with the ending, and she asks him for advice about the love triangle in the novel, asking him what he would do if it were him.
Tomozaki tells her he is in no position to make that choice in the first place. The episode ends with Minami cheering him up, reminding him of how cool and helpful he is. After this, Minami tells Tomozaki that she likes him before running away.
