On Thursday, February 22, 2024, the official website of the upcoming anime Tying the Knot With an Amagami Sister revealed its main cast in a new teaser video. The anime will reportedly be airing sometime in 2024, with summer being the most likely possibility.
The Tying the Knot With an Amagami Sister anime is based on Marcey Naito’s manga of the same name. The series debuted in 2021 under Kodansha’s Weekly Shonen Magazine and is still ongoing.

The latest Tying the Knot With an Amagami Sister anime teaser mainly focused on revealing its cast members, with no new information about the release date. The cast members include Yuna Amagami, who Kaede Hondo will voice. She is known for her stellar performance as Maple in Bofuri and Vegapunk Atlas in One Piece. Asahi Amagami will be voiced by Shion Wakayama. Joining them will be Sumire Uesaka and Ryota Suzuki, who will voice Yae Amagami and Uryu Kamihate, respectively.
The main staff includes Konosuba’s director, Yujiro Abe, who will direct the series, while Hiroshi Watanabe serves as assistant director. Yasuko Aoki is in charge of the scripts. Aside from them, famous designer Haruko Iizuka is responsible for character design.
As for the plot, Kodansha USA Publishing summarizes it in the following way: “Uryu Kamihate has had a rough start to life but plans to forget it all by achieving his dream—matriculating into medical school. But when he arrives at his new foster home, a working shrine, his dream of a quiet place to study goes up in smoke. Not only will he be living with the three beautiful, lively Amagami sisters—but he learns that he must marry one of them and take over the temple!”
