Cygames Pictures’ new original anime TV series Brave Bang Bravern! made an addition to its stellar cast members. The role of Cupiridas, a colossal robot who appeared in the most recent episode of the anime, is being played by Tetsu Inada.
Along with the new cast member, the website associated with the anime also revealed an illustration. Mizuki Sakura, a mechanical designer, designed the stunning illustration. These advancements raise anticipation within the fandom as they wait for the next episode to drop.
The previously cast members who have managed to stun the audience with their performances include Ryōta Suzuki as Isami Ao, Yōhei Azakami as Lewis Smith, and Kenichi Suzumura as Bravern.
Brave Bang Bravern!: All about the anime
Describing the plot of the anime series, Crunchyroll writes, “In the future, humanity wages war with giant humanoid weapons called Titanostrides. Isami Ao of the Japan Ground Self-Defense Force and Lewis Smith of the United States Marine Corps meet on the battlefield in Oahu, Hawaii. An enemy aircraft attacks, scattering their forces. To survive the battle and save their friends, unlikely comrades must find the courage to defeat this new threat.”
Masami Ōbari is reportedly directing the anime at CygamesPictures. Keigo Koyanagi is responsible for crafting the captivating series, while Kouichi Motomura handles the character design. Moreover, Kenichi Suzumura, who plays the role of Bravern, performs the opening of the song.
Brave Bang Bravern! started airing on January 11, 2024, in Japan. Until now, the anime has released five episodes, and Brave Bang Bravern! episode 6 will air on Thursday, February 16, 2024, at 11:56 p.m. JST. While the episodes are broadcast by TBS and its affiliated networks in Japan, Crunchyroll makes the anime available to global audiences.
