The Apothecary Diaries episode 17 kicks off with Jinshi approaching Maomao to give him a makeover. Though caught off-guard by this strange request, Maomao agrees to do it once she understands the need for Jinshi to disguise himself.
As she applies makeup on Jinshi to give him the requested makeover, she hesitatingly gushes over his beauty.
