Frieren Episode 20 recap

Frieren Episode 20 continued the competition for the best “mage.” As Fern’s battle with Wirbel’s team took a wild turn, Fern did not hold back. In fact, her strength and skills shocked everyone, including the expert Mage.

Meanwhile, Wirbel stumbled upon challenges with his binding spell as the episode delved into his past. As it turns out, Wirbel was the Captain of the Northern Magic Corps.

Furthermore, Fern tricked Wirbel into retreating by using Ehre’s fate as bait. Further along in the showdowns, Land managed to establish victory over Scharf.

Moreover, a chaotic confrontation revolving around the Stille Bird unraveled as Laufen stole Frieren’s Stille Bird and Wirbel captured one of his own. The episode also saw Frieren’s tactical prowess amid the brutal conditions of the First Class Mage Exam.

Toward the end, Denken and his group targeted Frieren’s team, which hints at a brewing confrontation between the two.
