The Magical Girl and the Evil Lieutenant Used to Be Archenemies: Everything to know

The late mangaka, Cocoa Fujiwara’s manga, Katsute Mahō Shōjo to Aku wa Tekitai Shiteita, began serialization in September 2013 in Square Enix’s Gangan Joker magazine. Though she passed away while the manga was ongoing, the publisher published its third and final compiled volume in March 2016.
MyAnimeList describes the manga’s plot in the following manner:
The manga tells the story of Mira, who leads an evil organization trying to take over and destroy everything. Earth is under attack, but a magical girl named Byakuya Mimori stands up to Mira’s group. As they face off, something unexpected happens—Mira falls in love with Mimori.
The Magical Girl and the Evil Lieutenant Used to Be Archenemies anime adaptation carries a poignant undertone, considering that the mangaka had an untimely death and could not finish the manga. Though the story’s conclusion remains uncertain, a comprehensive adaptation is likely in the making, and fans seem to be betting on it.
