The Witch and the Beast episode 1 recap
In Witch and the Beast episode 1, fans are treated to an exciting debut as Ashaf and Guideau, members of The Order of Magical Resonance, already set off for an adventure. The duo starts a quest to break a curse by seeking a witch in the city of Sanguine Lotus. The city’s locals guide the two to Ione, who seems kind and friendly to them. Soon, the arrival of a monster-like Beast controlled by a witch causes havoc in the city.
Ashaf and Guideau find Ione and realize that the city has a dark past due to an ancient curse that befalls it. Ione’s true intentions turn out to be evil as she reveals that she is scheming to unseal the flames from the said ancient curse. Moreover, she unveils that she will use humans transformed into “Keys” for the same, compelling Ashaf and Guideau to engage in a showdown against Ione.
Already witnessing betrayal and mystery in the first episode, fans seem to be in for a ride in this captivating anime TV adaptation.
