The reboot of Urusei Yatsura anime announced that season 2 will air this year. As Winter 2024 started, the anime started its second season with new episodes. Since Urusei Yatsura has officially been airing now, new home media listings for its Blu-ray and DVD releases in Japan have revealed that the series’ second season will last for 23 episodes. This means that the entire series will have a total of 46 episodes when Season 2 ends its run. Given its two consecutive courses, it will end sometime in late June before the Summer 2024 schedule.
David Production is producing the second season, and the cast features some returning staff members from the prior season. Fans can stream the first season and the ongoing episodes of this anime exclusively with HIDIVE. The new episodes will be available on the platform after their local release in Japan.
