Fans who have been following Naruto and Naruto Shippuden know that the Uchiha clan is one of the strongest clans in the entire series. During the Warring States Era, Uchiha and Senju were two of the biggest clans and were considered the backbone of Konohagakure.
What makes the members of the Uchiha clan so special is the power of the Sharingan. They are blessed with tremendous powers since they are the direct descendants of Indra Otsutsuki. Throughout the series, viewers seen Uchiha exercising their godlike powers. However, there are a few members who managed to stand out among the others.
1. Sasuke Uchiha
The strongest Uchiha in the entire Naruto series is Sasuke Uchiha. He showed his expertise with the power of Sharingan at a young age and even awakened his Mangekyou Sharingan following his brother Itachi’s death. Moreover, he is the only person other than Madara to have awakened the Eternal Mangekyo Sharingan.
Sasuke gained the Rinnegan in his left eye during the Fourth Great Ninja War and acquired the Yin Chakra of Six Paths. He might have been on par with Madara Uchiha but he also became an equal to Naruto Uzumaki in terms of strength.
2. Madara Uchiha
Known as one of the strongest Uchiha of all time, Madara Uchiha, the Ghost of the Uchiha, was the only shinobi in history capable of rivaling Hashirama Senju in his prime. Like his younger brother, Izuna, he awakened his Mangekyo Sharingan when he was young. After the tragic death of Izuna, he acquired the Eternal Mangekyo Sharingan and could finally use the power of the Susano’o.
When Madara awakened the Rinnegan during the Fourth Great Ninja War, he was almost on the same pedestal as Hashirama or surpassed his rival. After his revival, the Ghost of Uchiha acquired the powers of the Ten-Tails Jinchuriki and attained incredible power.
3. Obito Uchiha
Obito Uchiha is different from the other members mentioned in this list. He wasn’t a born prodigy with unlimited talent, but he possessed one of the most broken abilities in the series. His Mangekyo Sharingan allowed him to use Kamui, a space-time ninjutsu that could instantly transport him and those he touched to another dimension.
Moreover, Obito used abilities such as the Izanagi, which made him a force to be reckoned with. He even got the powers of the 10-Tails Jinchuuriki during the Fourth Great Ninja War.
4. Itachi Uchiha
Itachi Uchiha is one of the fan favorites and the strongest Uchiha to have ever lived. He was born as a prodigy and possessed immense talent. He mastered his Sharingan before age 10 and awakened the Mangekyo Sharingan. Except for his brother, he is also known to have massacred the entire Uchiha clan single-handedly in order to avoid the coup.
One of Itachi’s most feared abilities was the Tsukuyomi, a genjutsu that allowed him total control of time and space. He also possessed Amaterasu, a ninjutsu that let him produce inextinguishable black flames. Given his abilities and reputation in the ninja world, he was nicknamed the “Uchiha who can burn fire itself” by Obito Uchiha.
5. Izuna Uchiha
Madara Uchiha’s younger brother, Izuna Uchiha, was hailed as an extremely powerful shinobi. Fans have seen him sparring with his brother on a daily basis, suggesting that he wasn’t much farther from Madara in terms of strength.
Moreover, he was the first Uchiha member to have awakened his Mangekyo Sharingan alongside his brother, Madara. Besides, fans saw moments of him fighting against Tobirama Senju, Hashirama’s brother who went on to become of the second Hokage, using his eye. Sadly, Izuna died after Tobirama fatally wounded him in one such fight.
