Re: Monster TV Anime New Key Visuals Released

On Thursday, December 7, 2023, the official website and X (formerly Twitter) account of Re: Monster TV anime released a new preview video that unveiled the series’ cast, opening song artist, and release window. The promotional clip shows that the anime is scheduled for Spring 2024. The staff also released a new key visual for the upcoming series.

Re: Monster is based on Kogitsune Kanekiru and Yamaada’s Japanese light novel series of the same name. It began serialization in 2011 on Shousetsuka ni Narou and ended in 2018. It was quite late that the series was undertaken by AlphaPolis, who published nine volumes. Studio DEEN will produce the upcoming anime adaptation announced on September 19, 2023.

Apart from the release window, which is April 2024, the staff of Re: Monster also dropped a new trailer. This trailer delves into the anime’s premise and gives audiences an insight into how the protagonist gets reborn as a Goblin in another world after his mysterious death.

The protagonist opens his eyes like a baby goblin, and the realization of his situation dawns upon him. Not being able to do much about his predicament, the protagonist adjusts to his new lifestyle in the cruel Goblin community. Thus, he learns to fight strange yet dangerous creatures and forms a bond with his fellow Goblin friends.

As revealed in the promotional teaser, the protagonist’s name is Gob-rou, and the clip primarily focuses on how the main character and his friends survive in a world where Darwin’s principles prevail. Other than delving into the plot of the series, the clip also revealed information about the anime’s cast and opening theme artist.

The official staff of Re: Monster also released a new key visual for the upcoming anime featuring the anime’s main characters. The illustration focuses on capturing the journey of Gob-rou and his friends from toddlers to adults. Moreover, a new version of the anime’s first key visual has also been unveiled.
