Rurouni Kenshin episode 19 recap

In the latest installment of the anime series, fans witness Sanosuke and Tsukioka initiating their assault on the Home Ministry building. They strategically navigate through the back amid explosions. However, their covert mission takes an unexpected turn as Kenshin awaits them, instigating Tsukioka to engage in a useless confrontation. But, Sanosuke intervenes, disabling Tsukioka.  

Tsukioka later awakens in his place and discovers the absence of his bombs, the credit of which goes to Sanosuke and Kenshin. Despite Sanosuke’s advice to abandon the plan, Tsukioka opts for Seppuku and aims to ignite the revolution that he desires. Finally, in the end, Tsukioka abandons his violent intentions and returns home. A major twist appears as the episode concludes with the emergence of a potential threat named Shishio.
