On Thursday, the official website of Kingdom Anime TV unveiled the main visual for the upcoming fifth series. Along with the visual, the website also previewed the details of the returning and fresh additions to the cast. The anime TV series is an adaptation of Yasuhisa Hara’s historical manga of the same name, and it revolves around Xin, a young slave. He has the aspirations of becoming a distinguished general in the state of Qin.
Moreover, Xin played a crucial role in aiding Ying Zheng, the young king of Qin who shared his vision of unifying China, to ascend power. With an unwavering commitment, Xin endeavors to achieve mastery in military command. While doing so, he also aspires to lead an army capable of triumphing over the Seven Warring States.
The manga is a global hit and it is famous for setting records. It commenced serialization in 2006, in Shueisha’s esteemed Weekly Young Jump Magazine.

Premiering on the NHK General Channel on January 6, 2024, at midnight JST, the anime’s fifth installment marks the latest premiere in the franchise. The anime TV adaptation graced screens for four previous seasons, with the inaugural season airing in 2012.
Currently, the anime is in its Kokuyou Hills Arc, making the fans excitedly anticipate the upcoming season to witness what is in store for them.
