The current director of Attack on Titan had much to say about the anime. Yuichiro Hayashi said about the upcoming finale, “The anime Attack on Titan is finally heading toward its finale. These last four years, I faced this project every single day, going, “Fight…Fight…” We put everything I could possibly think of into this, and I believe the final footage is just a compilation of all of our passion. A new script from Isayama-sensei, the actors’ soul-filled performances, the absolute perfect pieces of music. Please experience all of this!”

Attack on Titan series finale: Here’s what to expect

The final part of Attack on Titan will show Eren’s full power as the Founding Titan. There has yet to be much revealed about what the Founding Titan is capable of, especially when Eren has its powers. He started the Rumbling with only one motive: to eliminate humanity from the face of Earth. The way Rumbling was shown in the anime did a great job of capturing the gravity of the situation and how messed up it is. The Scout Regiment stood face to face with their prior ally, but defeating him in the fight would be another story. Regardless of who claims victory here, fans should prepare themselves for some significant deaths to take place in the last installment.

The finale for Attack on Titan premieres in Japan on November 4th,2023; however, it’s not confirmed whether the special episode will be released on the same day in other regions like North America. Fans will be able to catch the much-anticipated finale on streaming platform Crunchyroll. Luckily, the streaming service brought the second to last episodes to its roster that same day, which is a good sign for the final installment.
