Digimon Adventure 02: The Beginning is about to premiere, and the otakus are excited to see what’s in store for them!

The official website of the anime movie streamed the opening video of the brand new movie. Needless to say, it took the fans on a mini adventure. However, the entire adventure will come to life once the movie finally premieres.

The video showcases the original opening theme song “Target~Akai Shougeki~” from Digimon Adventure 02, performed by Kouji Wada. It is also announced that there will be a program featuring the cast members. To reach a wider audience, this program will be both in Japanese and English languages.

The brand new trailer video features the adult forms of the major Digimon Adventure 02 characters. Considering the movie was released back in the year 2000, the comeback signifies the characters growing up as the fans have. Seeing Cody and Davis navigate their adult lives will be a sweet moment, much like what the fans might be doing now.

This new movie follows the finale of Digimon Adventure Tri. Moreover, it is set two years after the two Digimon defeat Eosmon.

Digimon Adventure 02 the Beginning US release date, English dub cast, & more

The movie will air on October 27, 2023, for the viewers in Japan. However, the movie will premiere on the big screens in the U.S. a little while later. The English-dubbed version will debut on November 8, 2023. Whereas the subtitled movie in Japanese will release on November 9, 2023. Both the days, the movie will air at 7 p.m. local time.

Among others, the English dub cast features Brian Donovan as Davis Motomiya, Jeannie Tirado as Yolei Inoue, and Bryce Papenbrook as Cody Hida.

The anime movie will run for 1 hour 20 minutes, which is a good amount of time for an adventurous expedition!
