Hoshikuzu Telepath Opening & Ending Theme Artists Announced

There has been confirmation of the artists for the Hoshikuzu Telepath anime’s opening and ending themes. The series’ official website has revealed the news.

Who are the artists for the Hoshikuzu Telepath themes?

Miku Ito will perform the opening song “Ten to Sen” and SoundOrion will perform the song “Tentaizu” at the ending of the Hoshikuzu Telepath anime.

Ito is a popular singer that has made a name for herself across Japan. She is also a voice actress with roles including Nanako Usami in Locodol and Shimamura in Adachi and Shimamura. SoundOrion is a popular J-Pop group formed in 2016.

The Hoshikuzu Telepath anime’s premiers in October of this year. However, there is no specific date as of this writing.

Studio Gokumi is producing the series. Kaori (The Quintessential Quintuplets) is the director and co-writer along with Natsuko Takahashi. Takahiro Sakai is in charge of character designs and is the chief animation director.

What is Hoshikuzu Telepath about?

Hoshikuzu Telepath is a seinen series by mangaka Rasuko Okuma. The manga started publication in 2019 and has seen three collected volumes.

Umika, an extreme introvert, is the protagonist of the series. She can’t talk with others, she can’t communicate, and she can’t form bonds. When the series begin, she is a very depressed state because of her own social anxiety.

Things take a turn when the new transfer student Yu shows up. Umika and Yu end up becoming friends before Umika discovers Yu is an alien. Yu has the ability to read people’s feelings by touching their foreheads together.

The series has been highly praised and was nominated for the “Next Manga Awards” back in 2021.
