Demon Slayer Season 3 Episode 1 Recap

Following their battle with Gyutaro and Daki, the Kakushi find Tanjiro and the others, who were heavily injured. Kagaya believes the defeat of the Upper Rank Six is an omen that brings them one step closer to defeating Muzan. Meanwhile, Muzan has a meeting with the five Upper Rank demons, Kokushibo, Doma, Hantengu, Gyokko, and Akaza. He scolds them for their failures.

Tanjiro finally wakes up from his coma after two months. Everyone is happy to see him awake. Meanwhile, Zenitsu is already out on a mission, and Inosuke woke up seven days before Tanjiro. Tanjiro then heads to the Swordsmith Village. He meets with the chief, Tecchin Tecchikawahara. He informs Tanjiro that Haganezuka has been missing for a while, and they’re looking for him. He tells Tanjiro they will surely bring him back.

After that, Tanjiro goes to the hot springs and meets Mitsuri, the Love Hashira. He also sees Genya, but Genya disregards him. Before leaving, Mitsuri tells Tanjiro about a secret weapon hidden somewhere in the village that will make him stronger. The following day, Tanjiro tries to look for the secret weapon. He then sees Muichiro, the Mist Hashira, and a familiar figure from his dream.
