Spy x Family Part 1 Blu-ray and DVD Release Date & Special Features

Tatsuya Endo’s iconic series is getting a home video release this summer. The Spy x Family Part 1 Blu-ray and DVD is coming to Crunchyroll in June 2023.

“World peace is at stake and secret agent Twilight must undergo his most difficult mission yet— pretend to be a family man. Posing as a loving husband and father, he’ll infiltrate an elite school to get close to a high-profile politician. He has the perfect cover, except his wife’s a deadly assassin and neither knows each other’s identity. But someone does, his adopted daughter who’s a telepath!” the official synopsis from Crunchyroll states.

The Spy x Family Part 1 Blu-ray and DVD’s release date is June 13, 2023. Part 1 consists of Episodes 1 to 12. Both the Blu-ray and DVD are two-disc sets. It contains the following special features:

  • Part 1: English Dub Panel
  • Japanese Voice Actor Interviews Part 1 & Part 2
  • Textless Ending Song

About Spy x Family

Spy x Family is a manga series created by Tatsuya Endo. Shueisha’s Shonen Jump+ began serializing the manga biweekly on March 25, 2019. Meanwhile, Viz Media handles the North American and English release. The manga currently has ten volumes out in Japanese, while the English one is available until the ninth volume. The series is one of the best-selling manga series, having at least 29 million copies in circulation since December 2022.

Wit Studio and CloverWorks produced the anime adaptation. The first part of Season 1 premiered in Japan on April 9, 2022. It had a total of 12 episodes. Meanwhile, the second part aired on October 1, 2022, and ran for 13 episodes. On December 2022, confirmation of the second season was announced, and also an anime film. Season 2 and the film are scheduled for a 2023 release.

Spy x Family Season 1 is available to stream on Crunchyroll and Hulu.
