Fans of sports and slice of life anime can look forward to the home video release of Aoashi. The Aoashi Season 1 Part 1 Blu-ray is coming in April 2023. Pre-orders are now available on the Crunchyroll Store.

The Aoashi Season 1 Part 1 Blu-ray’s release date is April 4, 2023. It will be available in English and Japanese with English subtitles. Part 1 includes Episodes 1 to 12 of the series. Here are the following special features:

About Aoashi
Aoashi is a seinen manga series. Yugo Kobayashi wrote the story and illustrated the art, while the original concept came from Naohiko Ueno. Shogakukan’s Weekly Big Comic Spirits began serializing the manga in January 2015. The manga is still currently ongoing. There is also a spin-off manga titled Aoashi Brotherfoot, written by Kobayashi. Weekly Big Comic Spirits serialized the spin-off from July to August 2021. Aoashi was awarded the 65th Shogakukan Manga Award in 2020 under the general category.
Production I.G produced the anime adaptation. The first season premiered in April 2022 and ran until September 2022. Season 1 had a total of 24 episodes. Akira Sato directed the series, while Masahiro Yokotani was in charge of the series composition. Meanwhile, Masaru Yokoyama handled the music. The opening themes are “Mushin Hakusu” by Alexandros and “Presence” by Superfly, while the ending themes are “Blue Diary” by Rinne, and “Color Lily no Koibumi” by Kami wa Saikoro wo Furanai.
