Blue Lock Episode 6 Recap
Team Z starts the meeting for their match with Team W. Their targets are the Wanima brothers, whose combination play contributes to their team’s victory. They settle with the plan of splitting them up. Later on, the match begins. The Wanima brothers easily go through Team Z’s defense. When Isagi talks to Chigiri, it turns out the brothers know who Chigiri is because they were former teammates. Isagi tells Chigiri to ignore the negative things they’re saying about Chigiri. Eventually, Kuon scores a goal.
Kuon scores another goal. One of the Wanima brothers is annoyed and gets fouled, resulting in a free kick for Team Z. Kuon scores his third goal, and Team Z celebrates during their break. During the second half, Team W easily scores two goals. Kuon apologizes for costing his team two goals, and Isagi briefly sees Kuon smiling. Isagi, Bachira, and Kunigami play their combination. However, the opposing team sees through it and ruins their play. Isagi realizes something is wrong, and Team W scores its third goal.
Isagi confronts Kuon and asks if he’s betraying the team. The Wanima brothers confirm Kuon’s betrayal and explain how Kuon proposed a plan to them. Kuon argues he’s just doing what he can to survive in Blue Lock. Due to the special rule of being a top scorer, he can move on to the next selection even if his team loses. Team W scores its 4th goal, making Isagi angry.
