Spy x Family Episode 16 Recap
Loid notices that Yor has been going home later than usual. Meanwhile, Yor is secretly taking cooking lessons at Camilla’s house. They attempt to make minestrone but Yor has failed all the ingredient preparations. Camilla tells her to give up, although Yor begs to try again. Along with Yuri and Dominic, they serve as taste testers. Yuri tries it first and throws up while insisting the dish is delicious. Meanwhile, Camilla and Dominic couldn’t deal with the taste. Yor’s next attempt also fails.
Camilla remembers that Yor and Yuri grew up without parents. She asks them if they remember anything about what their mother used to make. With that, they manage to recreate a stew dish from Yor and Yuri’s childhood. After getting home, Yor offers to cook dinner, much to the surprise of Loid and Anya. She reveals she’s been learning how to cook, then serves the stew for them. Loid and Anya enjoy the food, which makes Yor happy.
Franky wants to ask a woman out and asks for dating tips. Loid didn’t feel like helping but after Franky offered to make a better recording device, Loid shares his expertise. He made flowcharts and even disguised himself as Franky’s crush. On another day, the Forgers bump into Franky while going for a walk. Loid asks about the date, and Franky says the woman told him they can go out another time. Franky then goes to a bar to drink away his rejection and Loid drinks with him.
