Riko, Reg, and Nanachi finally arrive at the sixth layer. There are a lot of things in the area that they have never encountered or seen before. Nanachi suggests they immediately find a place to camp. While searching, the group meets some of the creatures listed in Lyza’s document. In the middle of gathering food, poisonous giant bubbles that spread lava start burning their surroundings. They quickly escape, and Riko successfully cooks the eggs she gathered. Riko feels like she has tasted the food before during a cave raiding memorial day. Following that, she suddenly remembers Nat and the others. Nanachi suggests they send a mail balloon out to them. Unfortunately, the bird repellent they put around the mail balloon does not affect the birds in the sixth layer.
The following day, Riko’s White Whistle goes missing. Nanachi and Reg manage to track the mysterious creatures that are after them. Eventually, they reach a large building-like structure. Nanachi and Reg notice that they are being watched from a distance. After going through the entrance, they arrive at an area filled with mysterious creatures. One of them introduces itself as Majikaja, and Riko asks if they took her White Whistle. Majikaja says an expert is looking at it. Right after, Majikaja asks the group to come with them.
